No Pounds Down Frown :(

Ok for all you die hearts I am feeling a tad bit discouraged this morning.  I haven't seen any change in 4 days even though I am committed to healthly eating, drinking lots of water and a minimum of 60 min of exercise a day.  I feel I am toning and inches are coming off so that at least keeps my motivation level up there.

If there are any words of advice people can share today with comments, it would be a good time (I don't need cheering, tips or advice on what to do, not do would be better).

Happy with a frown...

what works for me is to drink double the water that you were drinking for a day and if will flush out a lot! but make sure you have constant access to a bathroom!

Also, did you take measurements at the beginning? Sometimes if the scale isn't moving I will measure myself so that I can see the progress there too. Or go through your closet to find some clothes that now fit. NSVs can get you through a plateau

I have been losing the same 4 pounds for over a year! It's frustrating but I am not giving up. The scale is the devil ;-), you my friend are worth more than a number, don't ever forget that!

I lose two and gain one then lose 3...ugh.. maybe it is sodium intake.

GP, a certain KW that I know hit a major plateau at 80 lbs lost. Wanted to lose a few more, kept up her routine, ate well but couldn't shed those pesky lbs. But, her body was being transformed in different ways. Sculpted muscles...ones you can see, and some you can't. Inches gone. Best of all, a clear head knowing that she was doing all she could to be the best. She went jean shopping today and is wearing skinny jeans. They look incredible. The look on her face when she put them on was awesome. Wish I'd had a camera. It'll happen, just wait, have faith and in the meantime, enjoy the healthy glow!!! :)

RD, thanks sis and tell KW that I want to see a picture of her in skinny jeans... I tried on a pair yesterday and have to admit it felt weird wearing something so skin tight. I'm sticking to my boot cut for now :)

I recently came across your site through a comment you made on a blog that I read. I wanted to let you know what a great job I think you're doing here. Commenters can be the greatest supporters in a blogger's time of need and most of us know exactly what you are going through.
I found that the biggest thing to help me long term was to find great substitutes for the foods I love but choose to no longer eat. It seems to play a trick on my mind so I don't feel like I'm depriving myself. For example, I love Starbucks tea lattes. I now make them at home and they are way less calories (and taste just as good, too). Good luck to you. Looking forward to reading more from you!
